The Characters

Luke An angel of death who is new to the job of leading people to the end of their lives (death). He has supernatural powers and uses them as needed to help the people he has to guide to their final moment. His work is assigned to him from God. He is considered a rookie angel. His experiences will eventually lead him to his biggest challenge.

Ephraim An elder angel assigned as overseer to Luke and his assignments. He checks in with Luke periodically to see how the work is coming. He guides Luke in assisting with the death files.

Roam A demon, Hinder-class. Roam wanders his assigned region feeding off the emotions and evil deeds of those he influences. He discovers Luke is a novice and seeks to sway him into “interfering” with the humans. He regards Luke as a challenge.

Madame Solage A spiritual woman who does readings and has psychic powers. She is aware of Luke’s presence on earth. She is not sure where or what exactly his mission is, however she knows that he is associated with death. She spends time trying to reach Luke. Each time she thinks she is close, she is mislead or deceived, usually by her own perception of certain situation.

Viola An island beauty. She is an assistant at Madame Solage’s vision parlor. Because of her innocence and purity she is able to see things of the spirit with her physical eyes.

Linda, Luke’s Secretary. She helps Luke with his administrative work. She has her suspicions about Luke. But is not sure of Luke’s true identity.

Detective Roberts A older guy who has been on the police force for many years. He is dedicated to his work, and finds himself as one of the detectives who will follow the man “dressed in black” (Luke) trail as he tries to solve the mysterious association of death whenever this man comes around.

Detective Johnson A rookie detective, who is partnered with Detective Roberts. He is new to detective work, and looks to Roberts to help him and mentor him. Together these two men set out to discover who, what and where the man dressed in black came from.

Bryan Manley Davis

Bryan plays the character Luke in the Final Moment

Bryan is thrilled to be a part of The Final Moment. He is a classically trained actor with experience on both the stage and screen. NYC Theatre: New York Musical Theatre Festival, New York Fringe Festival, La Mama E.T.C., Cherry Lane Theatre. Regional Theatre: Actors Theatre of Louisville, McCarter Theatre, Maryland Shakespeare Festival, Roxy Regional Theatre. Film: Prideful Gundown, Sever, Stop the Music, Casey’s Journal. He holds a B.A. in Musical Theatre from West Texas A&M University and an M.F.A. in Acting from The Catholic University of America. A native of Texas, Bryan’s goal is to continue building his acting career in Film/Television/Theatre and also to one day write, direct, and produce his own films.
