Pearl Veldwijk
Pearl was born in Amsterdam, the Netherlands to parents of Surinamese descent. She started out modeling at the tender age of Seventeen. Continuously traveling from Paris and Milan to Cape Town, Sydney and more after acquiring numerous modeling gigs including Magazines, Commercials, Fashion shows and Catalogs. With a successful modeling career she boldly moved to New York to pursue an acting career which she yearned for ever since she was a young girl. Her appearance as a fantasy girl alongside Chris Rock in the feature film “I think I love my wife” sparked a desire for more. This is where Pearl realized that acting is much closer to her heart than she ever expected. Exploring her capabilities as an actor at the Penny Templeton Studios she’s further developing her innate talent and growing passion for the art of acting. Pearl aspires to inspire others by embodying diversity thru roles in action, drama, comedy and more. Her appetite for learning and development is reflected in her intense dedication to the craft of acting. This art form is what she wants to dedicate the rest of her professional life to. While Pearl is currently focusing all her energy on developing a successful career in acting she still manages to create time in her busy schedule for her friends in the modeling industry. In the end she hopes this road will eventually lead her to producing and directing her own motion picture.
